FEDERAÇÃO DOS ARQUEIROS E BESTEIROS DE PORTUGAL 1st WCSA Open European Target Crossbow Championships 18th to 26th September 2004 Dear Fellows, This is to confirm that the Portuguese Bowmen and Crossbowmen Federation will hold the 1st WCSA Open European Target Crossbow Championships in September 2004, from the 18th to the 26th. The competition will take place near Tavira, Algarve, in a nice resort called Pedras d'el Rei (this means King's Stones …), 28 kms east of Faro Airport. This competition will be open to all (and all … means ALL) shooters from Europe and from the rest of the World capable of holding a target or a field crossbow! There will be two separate lists for the shooters' classification: one to all participants and one to the WCSA affiliated shooters, both lists being divided by Males and Females and by Seniors, Adults, Assisted or Disabled and Juniors. The shooting field Yes, we know that this is no shooting field yet. But you need to be here in September 2004 to see what a wonderful shooting field we will be offering you! Concerning accommodation, you will have a choice between small villas or apartments for 2, 3, 4 or 6 people. The daily/pax price includes accommodation, continental breakfast (served near the accommodation), self-service lunch (close to the shooting field, with a special queue to the shooters during the shooting days) and a buffet dinner (near the accommodation). The price will be also a nice surprise: Full Accommodation T0: 2 people T1: 3 people T2: 4 people T3: 6 people including accommodation, breakfast, self service lunch and buffet dinner (salads, soup, cold and hot food, fruits and sweet dessert) Euro 58,00 / day / pax ! ! ! Facing the building above you have, on your left, the beach and the Algarvian sea (30 meters away) and, on your right, the shooting field (20 meters away). To reach this paradise you must cross a river using a pontoon bridge and take a small (free of charge) train … … just 15 minutes from the accommodations to the shooting field! As usual, if you want to extend your stay in Algarve, we can guarantee the same prices from September 15th to October 10th. Social events will take place in Tavira This is all for today!
